The Election Was About Unmet Expectations

The Obama administration said the unemployment rate would stop well short of 9%. It went up to 10%.  On the biggest issue Obama and his people were wrong. Voters don’t care that the Obama had incomplete information. Voters don’t care that it wasn’t Obama’s fault.  Decisions and emotions are all about expectations, and the Obama administration didn’t meet the key expectation they set — that’s why they lost independents.
