It’s Time to Play “Guess What the Quote Is About”

Until this week, most of the negotiating process had been a choreographed rope-a-dope with [public] sentiment, both sides saying little unless it was a chance to bolster their own image among the [public] or to take shots at the other party.

Got a guess?

It sounds suspiciously like the debt-ceiling negotiation.

Ok, time’s up.

It’s about the NHL lockout. Not surprisingly, the upshot of the article is that because the two sides are no longer doing that, it’s possible there will be an agreement.

Negotiation isn’t that hard if you don’t make it obvious you’re trying to screw the other side.
